Frederick Douglass High School Baseball Program’s Mission Statement

To build a program that exercises the long-term development of a player’s character, discipline, and work ethic. We focus on developing baseball skills and teaching the importance of preparation, teamwork, attention to detail, and confidence. We place high importance on education and our players are held accountable for their performance in the classroom. Our goal is that every player is given the opportunity to grow both mentally and physically, allowing them to find success on and off the field.
